Day 1 of season 36 was finally the day Tyson Jefferson became a professional cyclist in the peloton. He has rode in our youth team for a number of years, and we are delighted he has agreed to stay on with us. Manager Knotts had a few words "Jefferson is a rider we have mentored from a very young age, and having turned 19 just a few days ago, meant we could now offer him a professional deal. He has won tough races on hard terrain out here at junior levels and we hope he can continue his progression fast on the professional stage. He has a great riding position on the bike, and has spent a lot of time perfecting that in our TT centre".
California Mist has recently announced it will be back racing very soon with a new main sponsor financing the team (look out for another press release shortly about the new look team and goals). When we started we focused on sprinting, and we are now returning to this, along with TT and cobbles for the first time in our history. We enjoyed our time climbing and on the hills and will at some point expand to this again.

Going for cobble training first, then will do side stats for that before hopefully training timetrial. Picked this route, as with sprinting team will have better support for him. Also don't see him ever as a good enough climber to compete at the top divisions as no side stats
Nice talent Knotts, Climbing tour rider of cobble tour rider?
